organisations also utilise a social media policy to ensure that these facilities are only used for

Do's and Dont's of using Whatsapp

Do

Don't

  • Have a coach set the group up (allowing admin rights)

  • Assume everyone is on WhatsApp

  • Tell users what the app is/isn’t to be used for

  • Use the app for private messaging

  • Inform parents of its intended use (if applicable)

  • Use the app to replace formal feedback

  • Get the team to agree how the app is to be used i.e. no pictures,    only netball orientated content

 

  • Keep language appropriate
